On December 8th, in order to understand the development of Zhongshan's caster industry and promote industrial transformation and upgrading, Zhongshan Caster Industry Association invited Professor Zheng Gangqiang of Wuhan University of Technology and Art to assist in the research and development of Zhongshan caster industry in Xiaolan Town. The Technology Innovation Center held an industry research conference. Liu Yue, head of the Industry, Education and Research Department of Zhongshan Science and Technology Bureau, Li Youzhi, president of Zhongshan Caster Industry Association, representatives of Zhongshan University of Technology, Advanced Engineering Technology Research Institute and representatives of 17 member companies attended the meeting.

      At the meeting, Professor Zheng Gangqiang made a theme report on “Designing the Industrialization Ecological View – Guided by the Collaborative Innovation Strategy to Transform and Upgrade the Caster Industry”. For the caster industry, he advocated the integration reform of China's design industrialization and innovation and entrepreneurship education, and proposed the development idea of integrating design into the whole industry chain, promoting industrial upgrading with product and brand design innovation, and creating a new economic growth point with entrepreneurial incubation.

      At the meeting, Mr. Liu sent a message. Our research work must be done well. We must present the most realistic survey data of the Zhongshan caster industry to the government and Zhongshan’s casters.

      President Li also spoke at the meeting. I hope that with the huge resources of the university and the government's strong support for us, we can use the real research data to support the title of “National Caster Production Base”. Reflecting the true demands of the company, providing new impetus to the development of the industry, and working together to make our industry bigger and stronger.

      At the meeting, representatives of every company also expressed their opinions. The company reflected that the entry-level industry of the casters was low, and hoped that the association level would accelerate the formulation and implementation of industry standards. Through industry standards to regulate the production of enterprises, control costs, control the price war and other vicious competition on the industry. In addition, in terms of talent introduction, it is necessary to intensify efforts to cooperate with universities to introduce more talents for the industry.
